Once upon a time, there was a boy named “MAX”. He was a very nice boy; he used to help people, he was well-mannered, and he was kind-hearted 😊. But there was one problem. He was very picky with his food.

One morning he woke up and went to the kitchen to drink some coffee. Then he suddenly spat it out and said, “EWWW” 🤢🤮. “Is this coffee or black pepper?” he said.
He wanted something sweet, so he took a strawberry from the fridge and took a bite, and suddenly spat it out again. But this time he said, “aaahhhhhhhh”. “Is this a strawberry or a chilli, aaahhhhhhhhhhhhh?” 🥵🥵😫😫😩😩.
He took a glass of water and drank it, but it was normal 🧐. Something struck his mind. He thought, what if he could taste colours 😲. He immediately booked an appointment with the doctor.
When he went to the doctor, it seemed that nothing happened. The doctor said, “You might be imagining something”, then sent him off. He thought he might actually be able to taste colours.
He went to the supermarket and bought a pack of colours and licked all of them, and he was right — he could actually taste colours 🤯🤯. He made a list of which colours tasted like what.

🟠 = 🍊
🟡 = 🌽🍌🍍🍋
🟢 = 🤢🤮
🔵 = 🫐
🟣 = 🍇🍆
🟤 = 🍫
⚫ = pepper
He could not find what grey tasted like, but he knew it was bad 😣😫. Max had bought transparent utensils so he didn’t need to taste that yucky and nasty grey.
He had another doctor’s appointment. Max met the doctor, and the doctor said, “Open your mouth so I can check. What in the world… why have you been licking markers? Your mouth is like a rainbow.” 🤨😦😦🤯🤯🌈🌈🌈 The doctor thought he was mad and kicked Max out.

Everyone Max told about the problem thought he was joking and lying. Max felt sad and had to stick to a really bad food diet because of his new ability.
One day Max realised that he had been so ungrateful and so picky with his food. He said, “I am never going to be picky again.”

The next day he went and ate a lemon, but it tasted normal. His face lit up, and he took a strawberry, and it tasted like a normal strawberry. “I am back to normal.”

Since that day, Max stayed true to his promise and taught others who were picky.
